Questions

When do Maine state park camping reservations open for 2027?

Sebago Lake and Lily Bay open Monday, February 1, 2027 at 9 a.m. Eastern. Every other Maine state park opens Thursday, February 4, 2027 at 9 a.m. Each opening moves one day if state government closes for a storm. The whole season opens at once.

How far ahead can you book a Massachusetts state campground?

Up to 4 months before your arrival date, one day at a time, after DCR opens the system for the season. In 2026 the season opened February 18 at 9 a.m.; the 2027 date isn't announced yet.

When do Cadillac Mountain reservations come out?

30% of each day's vehicle reservations are released 90 days ahead and 70% two days ahead, both at 10 a.m. Eastern, on Recreation.gov. Walking, biking or a taxi needs no reservation.

Can I book Rhode Island state campgrounds for 2027?

Not yet. Rhode Island has put all 2027 camping reservations on hold while it picks a new reservation provider, and no reopening date has been announced.
